Preparation Instructions

A little preparation work helps our team work efficiently and ensures the best possible results. Please complete the following before your scheduled service date.

Please Note: If C.O.P.S. has provided a dedicated website for your HOA/community, please refer to that site for project-specific information, including your service dates, property map, and scope of work. This page provides general preparation instructions and is not specific to any individual community or project. If you have questions or need assistance, please use the contact form and our team will be happy to help.

Before Your Scheduled Service

Move Outdoor Items

Remove or relocate items near the areas being cleaned, including:

  • Patio furniture and cushions

  • Grills

  • Potted plants and planters

  • Outdoor decorations and décor

  • Toys, bikes, and personal belongings

  • Doormats and other loose items

Clear Driveways and Parking Areas

If your driveway or parking area is included in the scheduled cleaning, please move vehicles and other items before our team arrives. Vehicles should remain away from the area until cleaning is complete.

Close Windows & Doors

Please make sure all windows and exterior doors are fully closed and securely sealed before service begins.

Protect Personal Items & Electronics

Please secure or relocate items that could be affected by water, including outdoor electronics, speakers, cameras, decorations, and other valuables. If an item cannot be moved, please notify our team in advance.

Help Protect Your Plants

Our team takes care around landscaping; however, residents should move potted plants away from the work area whenever possible. Please make sure any delicate or newly planted vegetation is identified to our team before service.

Keep the Work Area Accessible

Please keep walkways, patios, entrances, and other areas included in the scheduled service free of personal belongings so our technicians can safely access the surfaces being cleaned.

You do not need to be home during service. Please complete the preparation steps above before our team arrives and keep people and pets away from active work areas while cleaning is underway.
